Dating has gotten so weird

Who knows what the proper dating etiquette is anymore? It seems like every ten years you're supposed to do things differently when going out on a date. How is the man supposed to behave vis-a-vis chivalry? In the days of yore, when my parent were dating, it was pretty much cut and dry- the man holds the door open for the woman and does countless other things to be romantic.

Today, some women get upset if you do such things. They take it as an insult. Dating is exhausting because we really don't know how to act. Society drives us crazy by sending us mixed messages about what is proper for the different sexes in a relationship.

So many people remain single because they have grown tired of the politics and games that comes with dating. People just have to decide how they want to treat the opposite sex and make it clear without any nonsense.
